Ground and Pound MMA shirtsGround and pound, the deciding factor in how many mixed martial arts fights, exactly? At least as far as the early-number UFC and IFC MMA bouts went, the ground and pound game really seemed to carry the day. We'd have to admit though that we haven't been as avid in following it all recently, since the glitz side of things took over in the UFC; we got really, really f&ckin' sick of the pre-fight tough guy b/s that gets squeezed out before every single match. Anyways.... A bit of a work in progress, this Ground and Pound MMA shirt. We like the beginnings of it, but it's not quite right so far. We'll put some more time in on this one in the coming month or two, when we've got time. For now, it's not a bad start - got some bloodwork going on in there, a couple of flourishes, some wing patterns and a spinal column in the background. We're liking the college-style text mostly, but it's not quite right for the rest of the shirt, if you see what we mean; maybe we'll switch to a more standard college font, or one of the hollowed out ones to give it a bevelled look. Ground n Pound shirt, an early designWe did the shirt below a few years back, when we were just starting out and had an idea in our heads but were still getting the hang of how to get it from our heads and into reality, on a shirt. So, bear with us - maybe it'll press your buttons more than our other Ground and Pound shirt for 2011, above. Back then, when we first did this one, we were thinking "wouldn't it be good to set up Ground and Pound as a brand?"
