Octagon Addict MMA shirtsfor UFC fansRight off the bat, even if we do say so ourselves, this is a really good shirt and we're damn pleased with how it turned out. We're octagon addicts, like anyone with any interest in the UFC, so we put it on a t-shirt. It's a good shirt for showing off a bit of attitude, and for showing off some support for the whole UFC/MMA thing, but without having UFC plastered all over the front of your shirt; we're not really trying to be that kind of fanboy, after all. As a ramble, how much has the octagon changed over recent years? Okay, so maybe the octagon itself hasn't changed much (although it's likely been much improved in terms of safety) but the UFC environment has changed out of all recognition compared to when we first came across it, back in the day around UFC 13 or so. Back then it was a labour-of-love kind of thing for all concerned, whereas now it's a multi-million dollar business at every outing. Crazy days; we just wish real competitors like Jeremy Horn could have gotten more of a slice of its current success. For obvious reasons - duh - it features an octagon, along with spiky circle backgrounds in red and orange, along with the almost obligatory feature for an MMA shirt, the skull. Thing is, it appears to be half-laughing so it kind of adds to the addict side of the idea. And, of course, it's got some blood in there, in keeping with the octagon thang. Great looking MMA shirt, ain't it?
